 A 1 - 10 number line, but with a difference. On each of the polar bears paws is a blank box, so that the story of the number can be illustrated. Thus with number 7 there could be number 6 and 1 or 5 and 2 or 3 and 4. (Write on wipe off.)
Can the child recall the number bond stories that are made from this combination? On the reverse side are the boxes and signs so that the two addition and two subtraction sums can be recorded.
