The Plus Bus is a folding bus in which six
cut out windows are used to
display the properties of 6. Photographs, finger puppets and
pictures, as
well as the inserts, may be placed inside. Each insert - a
flat bus in its own
right, shows views of 1, 2, 3 or 4 people on the bus.
Thus “4
and how many
more make 6?” is easily answered when the sum is represented
with a
visual image.
A dry wipe panel may be used to write the sum.
Split
pinholes are incorporated in each wheel so that the bus can
be kept closed,
or rotating wheels can be attached for the singing of the ‘The
Wheels on
the Bus’ .
Set includes 5 folding and 10 flat buses and a six page
photocopiable
booklet.
