Penguins - Halves and Doubles

Each penguin has a number on the front and corresponding snowballs. Turn over and the ‘double’ of this number will be displayed on the reverse side. Individuals or groups can play a self-correcting pick-up game, in which they are able to keep the card if correctly identified.

Alternatively use as a whole class teaching flashcard aid to identify the half or the double of the number.

Penguin Parade
Use the penguins as a number line displaying 1-15. On the reverse will be the even numbers from 2-30.

Eighteen double-sided penguins and photocopiable booklet to teach halves and doubles.

The children in my class loved your penguins! A great resource to introduce doubles, created a hands on fun practical lesson! Resource great, able to use year after year!
