Minusaurs

Many children have difficulty counting backwards, and so these attractive minusaurs with their colour coded fins display decreasing number lines from left to right.

Reverse sides show increasing number lines but ones that bridge 10 or 20. Thus, four double-sided minusaurs (A4 size) display10 to 0, 15 to 5, 20 to 10, and 25 to 15. (Colour coded so that 5 and 15 are the same colour.) Fins can be folded backwards so that numbers are hidden.

Can children say the ‘missing’ number, ‘next’ number, the number ‘before’, or numbers in ‘between’.

Set of 8 minusaurs includes a photocopiable booklet and resealable bag.
