Fifteen daisies (22cm diameter) display in their centres the common spelling patterns (NLS):

ay, ai, ee, ea, igh, ow, oa, ew, oo, 4 x magic e (a-e) (i-e) (o-e) (u-e), ou and ow.

Each of the 7 petals displays a word example with the spelling pattern emphasised in white.

Objective: to highlight and illustrate common spelling patterns.
